The Mississippi Research Alliance Instrumentation Network (i-Net)

i-Net is a network of core facilities designed to increase the visibility and accessibility of research instrumentation and expertise across Mississippi research institutions. 

By serving as a central catalog of shared resources, i-Net helps researchers:

     - identify existing equipment
     - reduce duplication
     - leverage state infrastructure for grant writing and strategic planning

A core facility can be a service center, academic center, departmental lab, or an individual PI with equipment or expertise to share, either for a fee, strictly for collaboration, or a combination of both. 

The Mississippi Research Alliance is a statewide alliance formed to connect critical elements across the research ecosystem with the mission to catalyze sustainable growth of a knowledge-based economy through strategic partnerships and investment in university-driven research and development. 

MRA Instrumentation Use Vouchers

Researchers at an eligible institution can request up to $10,000 for materials and usage charges required to conduct experiments on MRA affiliated resources. Open Solicitation with no deadline. i-Net Member Universities

Mississippi has four Carnegie Research Institutions: Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, University of Mississippi, and University of Southern Mississippi, as well as a medical research institution, University of Mississippi Medical Center.
